I am the type of person who heavily researches products before a purchase. I had read that this phone was a crappy phone and even the Sprint representative tried to talk me out of it. I had never owned a PDA phone prior to this and really really love Samsung. I have always had really good luck with Samsungs call quality and userability. BOY DO I REGRET the day I purchased this phone. I can handle the bulky phone - that dosen't bother me - it really isn't much better than a treo sizewise. Here is my biggest problem. BATTERY POWER. Or lack thereof. The system consistently crashes. The phone itself is just not user friendly whatsoever. I bit the bullet and sweettalked Sprint into a good deal on a Blackberry Pearl. Hopefully this will be a better choice, but at this point anything is better than this load of junk.

Cool things that came with the phone: Overseas chargers (for those who travel a lot), the SIM card, headphones for Windows Media use as a MP3 player (just about the only cool thing this phone does).

Horrible, never forgive myself for buying this phone specs: Battery power lasts for about 4 hours at full charge (if that), 8-12 if you don't use the phone at all. The Windows Media Suite crashes if you're a fast phone worker. Essentially you have to type or punch really slow for the phone to keep up with you. The phone userability is horrendous.

Samsung gets a major slap on the hand for even releasing this one. I still love Samsung products though. They are definately solid items, and its understandable that stepping stones are made and this one seemed to be a stepping stone to a better phone but this one should have never even hit the shelves until it was at least a little bit more use friendly and a lot less of a brick.
