I'm a first time blackberry user, and it was a little confusing at first, but once you figure out where everything is, its a breeze. the trackwheel makes scrolling through pages and selecting items fun and easy. the internet is fast, and is about the same speed as an older laptop, though the pages arent quite the same. it gets great reception, voice calls are clear, and its easy to adjust the volume with the trackwheel during calls. the only bad thing about the trackwheel is that i'm left handed, so the my hand which i use to control the trackwheel isnt quite as dextrous(i think thats a word)as my left hand, but like i said, once you get used to it its easy.

i took a point of value because it is an older model phone, and it costs around $200, evn though it is, like i said, an older model.

the battery life is pretty good, though if you do a lot of web and email, i'd recommend getting the extended battery.

i took 2 points off of look and feel because again, it is a bit outdated, and its rather large although if you had many nextel phones, youll love its size. its not very heavy, just big, but its a tradeoff i'm willing to make for the giant screen and the neat keyboard.

performance is great. its really fast with no lag like most cellphones have because it has a more advanced processor.

the features are great, obviously with email, internet, messaging, tethering, attachment viewing, bluetooth, plus it comes with a wired headset to go handsfree, desktop software, a holster that will work with either the regular battery it comes with or the extranded battery, a charger, and a usb cord that can be used to hook it to your computer and or charge it.

media is great, like i said with email internet, and it comes with like 10 great background picktures, and 3 different themes. i was happily surprised.

i havent tested the gps, but from what i've heard its great. also, it does not say it is text message enabled, becaue it sends MMS (i think it stands for multimedia messaging software) messages, which can include video, attachment, word/pdf files, etc, and of course regular text, just like a text message.

the direct connect is GREAT. even when i loose the signal for a split second it just keeps right on working without breaking up or anything. the speaker is AMAZING. very crisp and clear with little background noise interferance

overall, this is a great cellphone, and i give it a 9! email me at [email removed] with any questions you might have(yes those emails will go strait to my blackberry!!)
