I have been cursed with phones before that have made me wade through unnecessary letter after unnecessary letter just to get to that one letter that would allow me to complete my thoughts onto the screen. Well no more, The Rumor LG has awakened my inner-most typist and allows me to make post hast when texting to my colleagues in up-state Pennsylvania. My hat's off to the crew at LG Laboratories, good show and standing ovation to you all.

The sound quality is fine, but speaker phone is lacking. Menu lists are sometimes 2 pages, which makes it hard to find what you're looking for. The full keyboard is great and easy to figure out. The screen is a little small for horizontal use, but other people I've talked to who have this phone on a different network have a lot of trouble with the full keyboard. I drop my phone contantly and even though it does scratch and dent, it's never responded with technical problems. This phone is great for people who text more than they talk and have no need for a music or smart phone.

The first started out by skipping letters while typing, then freezing and then powering down. Of course it was not covered so i had to send back to LG and do without a phone for a couple of weeks. 2nd, 3rd both had the same problem. Would just lock up. Sprint's famous response - try removing the battery and then power back on. Today i have to send #4 back to LG. After only 1 month (and a few days) just enough time that it was out of warranty, i have to send this one back because the screen is scrambled. It started out just a little and now nothing is visilble. I tried taking it to a sprint repair store to find out that they were going to charge me $55 for this particular issue. Don't waste your money (on phone or shipping costs to send back to LG) and more importantly your time! This has been a hassle between telephone calls to reps who barely speak english and lunch breaks spent in line just to speak to a rep at the store.

Purchased Nov 23, 2007. The phone has stopped working three (3) times. Had to replace battery, had to be sent to LG at my expense and stopped working three days ago. (Screen gets jumbled, turns white then phone shuts off) ....

I have had many sprint phones over the years and this one is not too bad. I love the qwerty keyboard because I do a lot of texting and checking emails and it works pretty well. I had problems with it freezing during texting ....

I had problems with it freezing during texting and turning off on its own but I was able to get it replaced at the store. Also just purchased a memory card for it. So far the memory card has enabled me to open emails with attachments like microsoft word documents. I wish that there were more applications available to download. The list of apps available are not any that I would really use. I am using numerious other features on this phone. Overall, not too bad

This phone is cute and sleek but it's performance is very disappointing!

I didn't want a "smart" phone and I wasn't expecting one, but i was still surprised by how much the phone could do for me.
The only thing that could improve my experience would be if the battery life were better. I am not yet used to having to charge my phone every night.
I've had the phone for about 3 weeks without any problems.

this phone lasted 3 months. In the middle of a conversation the heading piece went dead. i guess they think you'll buy the wireless headpiece. getting it repaired is an inconvenience. i must ship it back and do without a ....

And the sliding keyboard is too wide and not tall enough, and as mentioned by others, it skips over letters. I am more frustrated with this cutesy phone than with my old basic one.

Most of the problems with the rumor happened when it first came out but they have then since fixed the bugs. i got this phone for free after rebate, so i think its a great deal.the keyboard helps tremendously. the interface is well done and much better looking than other providers who also carry the Rumor. the only downside is this ....

My phone has never randomly shut off, all the keys still function fine, and none of them are warn off. In fact I am happy enuff with it that I will probaly replace a few of my older phones with Rumors. My biggest complaint is the phone did not come with a memory card. Beyond that I am satisfied with the phone. But then again I have mre complaints about Sprint Customer Services than I do any of the phones I have.

I got the unlimited plan from Sprint so I could use all of the web and GPS features, etc. The web surfing has poor quality and it's very difficult to see the whole webpage. I also cannot get the Sprint TV Premier to work for ....
