I have had that problem since about 2 months after I got it. Now I am having a problem with having to hit certain keys really hard to be able to get them to work. The phone also freezes up a lot or all of a sudden it will ask you for the unlock code. I love the look of the phone but for $500 it was not even close to worth it.

The downside to this phone is that if you don't have unlimited internet any slight touch to the touch screen will send you to the internet (this includes putting it in your pocket). This will begin to make a major difference when your bill comes in.

2 of 2 people found this review useful User Rating 3.5 Out of 10 This phone is incompetent for two reasons:
1. Weak receiver. I have had plenty of other phones in the same office space. This one never shows more than 1 bar and switches to remote off and on. To use it I have to stand in the front door of my office, which makes working the computer and phone imossible at the same time.
2. Extremely short battery life, less than an hour of talk time. I literally can't get through a day without having to charge the phone.
I got this phone as a warranty replacement for a different phone. Unfortunately, Sprint no longer offered my old phone, which worked fine, and gave me this "upgrade" instead. I have tried to get them to swap it out for what I had (per contract) or for something different, but they will take no action.
This phone simply does not work. And Sprint is a pain in the neck about dealing with the problem. They're far more interested in the 30-day time limit (during much of which I was out of state), than they are in getting the customer a phone that works.
Bye-bye, Sprint, the minute my contract is up.

I don't have any issues with the battery. The feel of this phone is so much better than any other phone. It feels like a solid piece of metal, not some plastic toy. Plus, the screen looks great and you can watch TV on here.
I do wish it would do TV in widescreen, but for the most part I think the issues with this phone are likely user related. I also suggest checking for OS updates (you can do so from the phone). I think there has only been one, and that was pretty soon after I got the phone. I've had this since sometime in the fall--right when it came out, so I've had it for awhile. I am hoping when upgrade time comes that Sprint has the Nuvi phone or figures out some way to get the iPhone.
Also, I do think Sanyo makes great phones, but I could never go back to anything that doesn't have the solid feel of this phone.
