I've had a lot of minor problems with it but they add up to a big headache. Another review called it the Paris Hilton of phones- nice to look at but no brains or brawn. I agree. Look at it, admire, then get a different phone. 6 months later I am now paying full price for a phone because I hate my RAZR so much. This surprised me because Motorola is such a good brand. I have friends who love their RAZR but not me...

Also, I had to wait about an hour just to get service and about half a day just to get what I need fixed fixed. I've had battery propblems where after charging it, it dies out right away. The screen glitches on me a lot. When I'm talking to someone and someone is calling me and I want to switch, it doesn't work half of the time. My directional butoon going right doesn't work. There is no plug-ins for headphones. The alarm system goes out of wack, which is why I don't use it. The camera is pretty good though. The recording device isn't so loud during playback. There isn't much features as well. Overall, this was a very disapointing cell phone. I was exited at first but Sprint let me down on this one for sure.

I rated this phone a "1" all the way around except for the look and feel which I rated as an eight. This phone freezes, the screen goes blank for hours on end for no reason, sometimes the call history lists the same number as being called dozens of times then won't let me delete my call history. I've owned probably a dozen phones and this one bar none is the WORST and most annoying of them all. What a shame too, because I had always assumed that Motorola was the top-of-the-line in cell phones. I could not have been more WRONG. This was my first and soon to be my last MOTOROLA.

The camera works nice what I like about the camera you can put your pictures of the eternal drive which goes to your memory card you take the card out and put it in the adapter that comes with it and then put it in your card reader that is in your PC and you then can put the pictures o yout PC which make it easy to email. The battery life is ok. Overall this is a good phone and it looks and feel good.

the place where the charger connects its falling apart inside so it connects and disconnects if you barely touch it
the paint or whatever is chipping off of the keys
my 9 key barely works
sometimes the ringtones don't play
the battery lasts about 2 hours for me if I'm texting that day
if I play the media player it kills the battery
deleting text messages take like 20 minutes for a full inbox
this phone is just HORRIBLE !
Do not get this phone , I have only had mine for a year and I'm begging
to get a new one !
Like right now it's 2 , I had a fully charged battery a half hour ago , it's half battery now .
Ahhhh horrible phone !

You'll get error 1012 every time and have a shiny expensive paperweight. See the forums here -- it's a known defect. It WILL DO everything else OK though, albeit at a snail's pace as everyone else has said, and getting the red one fights AIDS apparently and at least looks nice, however no reminder beep is available like with most other phones, and a USB-to-mini-USB cord WILL NOT get you access to its memory (with Sprint), just a charge instead. Also the Razr holster I bought broke within a month of normal usage; I'd recommend a Naztech case (with clip) instead. I had this phone for a year and just now upgraded to the LG Rumor.

I'll check my voice mail... drive a few miles... it will switch to digital roaming and then tell me I have a new voicemail... just to find out its the same one I checked already! Now imagine driving home from work and you go 30 minutes in a dead zone where your reception is in and out with digital roaming and every time you get the slightest signal its reminding you - even though you have checked it now three times - that you have a new voicemail!!! Thats just one example of how annoying this phone is. Texting is just as horrible! I can write a whole sentence before it shows up on my screen... thats just sad. The phone has gotten so slow in fact that I've actually adapted to its slowness... and now can maneuver through the menus three deep before it even reacts to my input... so while I've memorized the menus I'll click on one then thumb the next three or more options while the phone is still on the first one!!! Sprint needs to just toss this phone or revamp its software. I can't even go more than half a day without charging it. I've had three different batteries too and all the same result, batteries die and leave you without a phone. My suggestion - DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

Then, it stopped recognizing my Motorola Bluetooth device for no reason, and now, my battery goes from a full charge to empty in about 7 hours (overnight...non-use). This phone has not even lasted long enough to get me through my 18-24 month period before I can get a new one. VERY VERY VERY disappointed.

I got mine Thanksgiving weekend '06 and by Christmas '06 I was trying to return it - over 30 days - too bad, can't - I've been with Sprint over 10 YEARS and they still wouldn't do ANYTHING for me. The phone began losing a charge after 3 months, never held for longer than 3 hours (I'm lucky to get that now!!) - tried 2 NEW batteries and it didn't help - it's the phone, not the batteries. Freezing, skipping, no response to voice command - losing stored numbers for days and then they suddenly re-appear, only to lose them again. EVERY number I store has to be written down so I can keep it. Blue-tooth is only good if devices recognize your signal - I have yet to find a GPS or headset that works with MY phone.
I COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHONE LESS!!!! My old Samsung that I had for 6 years works better than this!

Also, I had a lot of battery problems (not holding its charge, etc.) until I figured out that if I plug it into the wall (NOT my car) and leave the phone on, it charges and holds the charge pretty well. When I tried to charge it off, the screen would pop up "charger connected" and stay like that during the entire charging time, thus using as much as it was charging. Stupid.
I won't get this phone again, but it was free when I renewed my contract, so I can't complain too much.

After a while I was recharging after 3 hours...and I hadn't even used the phone. Bringing it back to Sprint they said oh yes it is defective. They gave me a refurbished phone because thankfully I was under the insurance plan. It worked wonderfully for a couple of months and then it started to happen again. When i brought it in this time they gave me a new battery. A couple of weeks later when returning it for a third time... the battery was defective. "You must have spilled something on it...or it was in a pocket where there was too much sweat!" I am tired of this phone and the problems that it has caused me. Although I have asked folks about theirs many have had no problems but many have also weak batteries. Never again! I am also very frustrated with Sprint and their attitude towards the phone.

I took another one and have been using it for awhile but it wasn't any better. It freezes alot. ALOT. I've had to take off the battery to try to make it work again. It is annoying and it is slow. It takes several seconds after you press a button to begin the function. I would not recommend it at all. P.S. Others who have the same phone also tell me the similiar stories. Save your sell from this horror and don't buy or take this phone as a free phone.

I never have problems with signal, volume, etc and I like the size and shape of it. I do not use it for internet or pictures, so I don't really know how well it performs in these areas. My biggest issue with it is the ....
