The phone has worked great, good battery, lovely features. I kept insurance and therefore went through 3 or 4 of these because of water damage, lost, or stolen. Even when it broke, it was because of being handled very roughly. It has fallen many times without a problem.
I do not like the fact that you can not use navigation by sprint. They say that the phone does not support that technology. You can use maps for directions though, just no turn-by-turn direction through voice.
I am thinking about the instinct because that is closest thing to an upgrade that you can get. What I like most about this phone is the camcoreder and camera. The phone as modem was a huge asset. I don't think that I will get another phone until this one becomes TOTALLY !! outdated which could take a few years.

Bought this phone because of the 2MP camera with zoom. Pictures are no better than any other phone camera and I wound up with a bulky phone with average features. It also has occasional issues with my Samsung Bluetooth ....

Pictures are no better than any other phone camera and I wound up with a bulky phone with average features. It also has occasional issues with my Samsung Bluetooth earpiece - has to be "rebooted??? Charging stand is a nice feature. Unfortunately phone also only recognizes 512 memory card. I have a 1 Gig in it and it works, but if you load it up with say mp3's it will only recognize some, not all. I guess that's better than nothing. Speaker phone is very poor compared to Nextel phone I had before this. Medoa is pretty nice, but with such a small screen, what's the sence, but I guess that is the case with most phones. My wife has a sanyo that pretty much blows this out of the water.

I Bought this phone, brought it home, showed the wife, Bam!!!, bought one for her. Very Solid phone, nice perks, no complaints yet, and I bought these 2 years ago. My only regret is giving up this phone for the new Instinct ....

Very Solid phone, nice perks, no complaints yet, and I bought these 2 years ago. My only regret is giving up this phone for the new Instinct when it arrives June 20th, but my kid is gonna love it. My wife won't settle, this phone is the one for her. Its got tv, music, expanable memeory, speakerphone, and a dice game...yeah, a dice game, get this, shake your phone and the dice roll, nice! plus a lottery generator, and music/beatbox sounds you can create when you shake the phone as well, great for getting attention, lol. Samsung has never let me down, calls are great, camera works great outdoors (I especially like how you need to turn the top screen like a camcorder to activate the camera) , a flashlight, Never dropped a call, simply the best, Can't wait for June 20th, so I can start playing with my new Instinct phone, all touch phone, made with sprint, for sprint.....Thanks Guys, keep em comin!!!

When driving in the country, I was always able to make a call or connect to a network. Every other person there would get gaps in coverage that I didn't. I wish this phone was still made. This is a rockstar phone with the camcorder feature and optical zoom..
