I got this phone last April....it was an upgrade, but I still paid around a $100. for it. It is and upgrade for being in your system for 2 years....I was offered another phone...which I didn't like, so I opted for this good ....

It is and upgrade for being in your system for 2 years....I was offered another phone...which I didn't like, so I opted for this good looking phone even if I have to pay for it.
The phone is cute, etc. ....my only concern with it is that it has a dark background.....is there a way to make the background lighter?

When I bought this I thought I was going to be getting connections like at the Sprint Store... Not. I lived in the farm country of Illinois near a major Air Force Base. First, the radar effects reception & lack of cell ....

I lived in the farm country of Illinois near a major Air Force Base. First, the radar effects reception & lack of cell towers. When I got this I was told there would be twoers going up in that area within the next 6 months (it's been almost two years), but they haven't been placed. By chance i moved to be closer to work, now I'm half a mile from a tower with no problems. When is this major change going to take place in the network that will get reception ANYWHERE in the states? I like Sprint and brag all the time, but I really like the iPhone. Now the new plan - $99.00 "Simply all of it!" sounds great, but we need coverage to back it! I want to be able to take my laptop with me on a trip & get reception anywhere, that's all.

I highly recommend this card. Connects fine and I drive a semi-truck. I am constantly moving, and it does try to stay connected to the evdo network, but does have to switch to 1x rrt (slow). But it's great to have truly ....

I am constantly moving, and it does try to stay connected to the evdo network, but does have to switch to 1x rrt (slow). But it's great to have truly unlimited internet wherever I go. I just took over a plan from a friend she got for $40/mo. I was paying $60/mo for the exact same thing. So if you can get on with someone or take over an acct from someone with a lower plan, go for it! Pay less for the same service.

I have had this PX-500 when it came out. i have not had a problem and i able to get signals anywhere.
