Seriously!? I "upgraded" to this phone. The button layout is horrible. It's almost impossible to get out of the holster without ending the call or DC. The loudest the ringers get is sort of like a loud whisper. The camera is really slow. I'm on my 2nd phone since the first one randomly shut itself off or restarted in the middle of sending texts. I have this through my company but I still carry a verizon razr since I know that that will work in almost any conditions. My experience with Nextel/Sprint has been a complete waste of time and money. If it were not a work requirement I would have nothing to do with either the phone or the service.

Strengths:
-- Mil Spec small CDMA phone with DirecConnect
-- Good internal memory for pictures
-- Interfaces functional, easy to understand
-- Roaming on CDMA 1.9 or 800 mhz
-- Integrated E-mail option an unexpected pleasure
-- Supports Microsoft Live Search (a very fun application/value add that should be on every Sprint phone)

Weakness
-- Battery Life Poor -- recharge daily strongly recommended
-- Phone resets when in low coverage area
-- Signal strength -- well let's say this puppy need some help, challenge holding signal when other phones have no problem.

DirecConnect works like a champ -- cannot tell the difference between an IDEN vs CDMA DC call. Absolutely worth looking at. Improvement is needed with this device -- hopefully software upgrade can improve performance.
