I'm going to go ahead and talk about the battery life. It's not great, I get about a day and a half out of it, but its not the worst I've seen either. I put that battery through its paces: web, texting, talking, etc. So I can't complain. Everything else is awesome! The huge screen (what a novel idea for a nextel) and the color outside display are sweet. The media player's a little quirky, but hey: it's a phone. I don't expect a whole lot. The camera is awesome. Voice recognition is great. Direct Connect works like a charm. I haven't had any trouble and everything works great. Sure, it's got its quirks: the green battery charge complete light kept staying on, even after I unplugged the charger. (Replugging in the charger and hitting a button and removing the charger solved the problem) Sometimes the menus are a little slow, but when you're packing this many features into a small package, I can completely understand that the little memory chips are getting a work out. It's not Milspec like the 402, 502, and 602, but the bluetooth and the EVDO is totally worth the trade off. This phone helps me get things done. Thank you Motorola and Sprint for coming out with such a great phone. (Sidenote: I had the ic602, it's not as rugged as they make it sound. Spend the extra money and get this one and take care of it. It's got more features, but it's still a Nextel: rugged and hard-working)

My advice: charge daily, as needed, or buy the extended battery. Get a bigger memory card for it (more room for music and pics) and invest in a data plan to take advantage of that high-speed EVDO internet. Check it out. Try it. The ic902 is worth it. Every penny.
