good phone Saturday, 16 August 2008 Expand

I like this phone and it is user friendly. The only bad thing is no camera. The Q-chat works better on this phone but, Q-chat still has some problems.

Since this is the ONLY choice sprint offers for the rugged line, im giving it a try. So far the battery life is poor(less than 5hrs t/t)and it has no timeout/auto-lock feature(avail on nextel). All other features work great to include sound quality and volume level. So until the upgrade rolls out which is supposed to have stronger media features and other increased features, its a great phone for the price!!!

For the first q-chat phones this is better than i expected from sprint seeing as they like to take something that works and break it,ie. Iden/NEXTEL

The voice quality is less than expected and it sounds drowned out both on dc calls and on the flip speaker.
cross network dc calls are still not working to well and the sound for those calls verses q-chat to q-chat is bad.

The phone has features that will keep a die-hard iden fan amused for hours because iden did not have many.

over all i like this phone and hope that the new q-chat phones will include all the fixes that are needed to allow this to take off as well as iden and betther than readylink.
